This week students completed a second self-portrait, this one done from observation using the mirror. Not every student in the class is featured below.
Tonight Kean University Students from my Drawing 2 Class brought in their first self-portraits done in charcoal on large size printmaking papers. Students created backgrounds first in class last week. Then they created this first drawing for a class critique today: A self-portrait. This is not the easiest drawing to begin with for obvious reasons! But the results were stellar and you can see their energy below. Not every student is featured from the class. Stay tuned for Drawing Number Two!
