Tonight Kean University Students from my Drawing 2 Class brought in their first self-portraits done in charcoal on large size printmaking papers. Students created backgrounds first in class last week. Then they created this first drawing for a class critique today: A self-portrait. This is not the easiest drawing to begin with for obvious reasons! But the results were stellar and you can see their energy below. Not every student is featured from the class.
